I’m sure that at some point you must have heard about Reiki healing. It feels like everyone is talking about it. But, it’s totally understandable if you aren’t really sure what Reiki is, if it’s for you and if you should try it.
Allow me to introduce myself first, before we jump into the magical world of energy healing. My name is Bojana, I own and operate Divine Remedy Healing. I’m a Reiki Master, Self Mastery Expert, Quantum Alignment and Human Design Specialist, and in my spare time I create Aromatherapy products for the body, mind and soul. I specialize in different forms of energy healing, and have a deep understanding of how energy moves around us and through us. It’s one of my greatest passions.
When I was first introduced to Reiki, it felt like a calling. A deep desire to try
something new that I never experienced before but I felt like could help me on my own healing journey. Today, Reiki energy is a part of everything I do, and I would love to share with you the amazing benefits of it.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique that is used to heal physical and mental distress, and to support mental clarity and spiritual well-being. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. It refers to energy that flows through all living things. Because of this, Ki is also often called “life force energy”. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy.
A Reiki session is a gentle hands on healing which can be experienced in person or virtually, over a distance. The practitioner sends the Reiki healing energy through specific energy points located on the body and uses the powerful Reiki symbols to send the energy where it’s most needed. The Reiki symbols are like keys that open doors to a higher mind. The distant Reiki symbol, as the name suggests, makes it possible to send the energy over a distance. It is this very powerful symbol that makes virtual Reiki sessions highly effective and deeply healing.
Benefits of Reiki Healing
Reiki may help ease tension and stress and may help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels- physical, emotional and spiritual.
● Promote Harmony and Balance
● Relaxes and Releases Tension From The Body
● Breaks Down Energy Blocks and Balances The Mind, Body, and Spirit
● Cleanses Body of Toxins and Supports Immune System
● Clears The Mind and Improves Focus
● Helps You Sleep Better
● Helps Spiritual Growth and Emotional Cleansing
● Accelerates The Body’s Self-Healing Ability
It’s important to note that Reiki is experienced differently in person and virtually and one of my goals was to create a unique virtual Reiki experience that resembles an in person session as much as possible.
A typical distant Reiki healing does not actually include much talking or direct connection between the client and the practitioner. The practitioner would simply send the Reiki energy using the distant symbol to the client, and this would often fall short for many. This was something that never truly resonated with me. And, so I set forth to create a virtual healing session I felt I would enjoy and benefit from. Most of my clients, who never had a distant or in person Reiki healing, do not actually know that the healing they are experiencing isn’t typical in the Reiki
My unique creation is a combination of guided meditation and hand placements, where the Reiki energy is channeled through to the individual or a group.
Guided To Try Reiki?
At the beginning of the year, I was guided to offer a free to sign up virtual Reiki healing group session once a month for anyone who needs it and is called to try it. Donations are very much appreciated and anything collected is given to charities.
The world hasn’t been an easy place to exist in this past year, and many of our fears, doubts, and pains have come to the forefront. Our emotional and mental health has been challenged. Stress and anxiety has been high. It is safe to assume that none of us are truly okay. And the only way to get through it all is with an open heart and compassion, lending a helping hand where we can and when we can.
