Inspired by a pomegranate these sweet little circle earrings are handmade from solid sterling silver. I am fascinated with seeds of any variety, shape and size.
A circle of silver wire creates a boarder that is filled in by various sized granulation “seeds.” A small circle loop on the top allows the earrings to dangle freely from the ear wires. Both the cast seed cluster and the ear wires are solid sterling silver.
Working with the natural beauty of the silver I applied a dark patina to the recessed areas. This contrast between dark and light really makes all the details stand out.
