Handmade Crochet Market Bag

I’m Jasmine, the Maker and Mama behind Ocean Peak Designs (formerly known as Kicheko Designs). I love to make, create and inspire customers and other makers everywhere.
My goal is to provide warmth and sunshine with yarn, creativity, imagination and a smile by creating unique, wearable items.

I source unique colours and yarns and only stock small quantities in each to keep things fresh. When you purchase something from me, you know that there’ll only be a few people with similar items. I also have a LUXURY line of hats, which are created from indie hand-dyed yarn.

I started crocheting in 2012. My husbands little sister showed me how to do it and I was ‘hooked’. I’ve loved learning new patterns, supporting other crocheters by purchasing their patterns, and shopping small and local.

Our beautiful mountain town of Revelstoke BC keeps the inspiration flowing.
Kicheko actually means laughter, and laughter is something I’ve always deemed really important. It can lift your spirits, change your outlook, and carry you through the highs and the lows. It’s the small, simple things that bring the most joy.

Proceeds from each purchase go to Compassion International, who are a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty.

Being the change can happen easily. I’ve chosen to ship out each order in a fully at-home, compostable poly mailer. They’re durable, & breakdown in your compost at home. Choosing Better Packaging is just another way I’ve chosen to be a positive change in the world.
