I’m Jasmine, the Maker and Mama behind Ocean Peak Designs. I love to make, create and inspire customers and other makers everywhere.
My goal is to provide warmth and sunshine with yarn, creativity, imagination and a smile by creating unique, wearable items.
I source unique colours and yarns and only stock small quantities in each to keep things fresh. My store will be taking an even more sustainable approach to handmade by focusing on using cruelty-free 100% merino wool, some of which is hand-dyed to create uniqueness in every piece and most will also be sourced from small Indie-dyers from within Canada. There’ll be a new line of cowls, along with mittens, with options for sizes and colours available for both men and women. I have a small line of children’s hats and accessories also available, and those are on my website.
Our beautiful mountain town of Revelstoke BC keeps the inspiration flowing.
Proceeds from each purchase go to Compassion International, who are a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty.
Being the change can happen easily. I’ve chosen to ship out each order in a fully at-home, compostable poly mailer along with a protective inner package to keep your items fresh, new and extra protected. Both mailer & inner package will breakdown in your compost at home. Choosing Better Packaging is just another way I’ve chosen to be a positive change in the world.
