Speaking Volumes
Speaking Volumes is a local bookstore located in the small town of Markdale, ON. They carry a mix of new and used books with an exceptionally large academic and philosophy section.
When I visited I also noticed a good collection of personal development books, puzzles, along with newly released books from Louise Penny.
Speaking Volumes is one of those bookstores with floor to ceiling books displayed in an organized chaos kind of way. It’s a store that book lovers will love especially if you have time to slowly take it in and wander the rows of books. If you’re looking for a specific book or genre, they are extremely helpful in helping you find it.
