What inspired you to start your business?
We are unconventional storytellers and make products that help people deepen their friendships and connections with beautiful stationery.
How do you describe your business?
We design and manufacture unique and whimsical stationery with ink and watercolour illustrations. Products include cards, postcards and notebooks. We operate a wholesale business under Gotamago and a retail operation under the brand Silver Antelope where we sell our own products and those of other Canadian makers.
What’s your bestselling product?
The greeting card “Rarest Father’s Day & Rarest Birthday” (two versions for two occasions) which is carried in hundreds of stores in the US and Canada.
Why do you think it’s so popular?
There are very few cards designed for women to give men. This card has universal appeal as a birthday and father’s day card.
