SEEDS IN CANADA
Asho Gardens
Asho Gardens is a local Ontario business and Canadian seed company. They have an incredible collection of seeds available. They have a unique variety of seeds that we haven’t seen in other Canadian seed stores. Some of those seed mixtures includes a wildflower mixture (shown below) with over 200 varieties. This is one of their best sellers! They also have what’s called a butterfly blend, and a variety of beautiful and unique ground cover seeds. They also sell a variety of vegetables and fruit seeds for lettuce, carrots, beans, different varieties of kale, squash, and more.
Canadian Seed Company: Dizzy Bees Urban Garden
Dizzy Bees Urban Garden is a Canadian seed company and local British Columbia shop based in Nanaimo. They have a collection of flower and vegetable seeds available from their urban garden. They have a great mix of zinnia seeds, sunflower seeds, and lots of other beautiful flowers. They also sell a variety of herbs seeds like cumin and basil and vegetable seeds which include peppers, kale, tomatoes, and more.
The Seed Company
The Seed Company is a local St. John’s Newfoundland business offering vegetable and flower non-GMO seeds to Canadians. Their shop has a long history in the Canadian seed business as it’s been in operation since 1925.
Olive Seed Company
Olive Seed Company is a local Edmonton shop that has a large collection of flower seeds available for purchase. Some of their bestsellers includes a really unique lilac pompon poppyseed, champagne pink hollyhock seeds, and a giant Iceland poppy seed mix, which are all stunning. My Garden Seed is another really great Canadian seed company and local Vancouver shop. Their collection of seeds mainly includes flower seeds, but they also have some vegetables and fruits & grasses. Peak Value Seeds is another seed company in Canada that has a large collection of both vegetables and flower non-GMO seeds. Their vegetable collection includes tomatoes, corn, radishes, rhubarb carrots, peppers, and more. They also have an impressive flower seed collection.
Eco Seed Bank: Canadian Seeds
Eco Seed Bank is a local Montreal shop and great Canadian seed company. They have over 350 seeds in their shop that includes vegetable seeds like carrots, lettuce, peppers, broccoli along with a large collection of flower seeds and grasses. All of their seeds are non-GMO, non-hybrid, untreated seeds.

Circle Farms
Circle Farms is a local Calgary shop that offers a large collection of vegetable, flower and fruit seeds along with a mix of great gifts for flower lovers or garden lovers. One of our favourite gift ideas for gardeners that they offer is a Canadian vegetable garden seed pack (shown below). It includes a collection of 12 different types of seeds so you can start your own vegetable garden. They also have a really unique Canadian subscription box where you receive a new type of seed every month for 12 months. This makes an awesome gift idea that people can get excited about for the entire year.

Another Canadian seed shop is Northern Wildflowers, a local Ontario business based in Sudbury. This family owned and operated seed business offers non-GMO seeds that can thrive in Northern Ontario. They have so many seeds to choose from, including blueberries, wildflowers and vegetables.
West Coast Seeds
West Coast Seeds is one of the biggest online Canadian seed companies that we’ve come across. Not only do they have a huge collection of every type of Organic seed you could be looking for, they also have a lot of really helpful resources and gardening supplies. These supplies include garden tools, garden gloves, seed trays, bird seeds, etc. This is a great shop to check out if you’re looking for a gift idea for gardeners or a gift for flower lovers because they have such a wide variety of products to choose from.
Stems Flower Farm
Stems Flower Farm is a small family seed business and local Ontario shop based near Cookstown. They have vegetables and flower seeds to choose from along with Dahlia tubers. We purchased some of their zinnia varieties along with a collection of unique sunflowers last year and really loved the flowers that bloomed.
