Hello, I’m Denise and welcome to my pretty little shop. I am a Canadian illustrator and business owner of The Pretty Pink Studio. I am passionate about illustrating, stationery, home decor, and bright and bold palettes. I find inspiration in children’s picture books, everyday moments, ordinary experiences, emotions, and patterns. My favourite colour is pink, but you probably already guessed that…
I’ve been drawing since I was a little girl, so needless to say, I always knew I wanted to be an artist. I loved illustrating little pictures for my friends, and I especially enjoyed taking art classes during high school.
Today, I continue to illustrate and enjoy designing art and stationery for not only friends but for people around the world. The Pretty Pink Studio has been my labour of love for almost seven years, and every day I look back and am so happy I decided to start.
I work from my home studio in a small town in Ontario, Canada. I do everything at my desk, from illustrating, designing, printing, cutting, and packaging. I am also a licensed illustrator for Graphique de France! You may find my artwork on products sold in TJMaxx family stores like HomeGoods, HomeSense, Winners and Marshalls.
When I’m not at my desk creating, you can find me either working in a public library, cooking tacos, rewatching Princess Diaries or travelling with my husband, Jeff.
