What inspired you to start your business?

It all began with Sophie’s son, who has sensory sensitivities and refused to wear most kids’ clothing. Getting him dressed each morning was a daily struggle. That challenge sparked an idea: what if there was clothing that felt so soft and comfortable, kids actually wanted to wear it?

Together, co-founders Marie, Atlee, and Sophie created PIKA—thoughtfully designed, ultra-soft, functional pieces that make life easier for parents and more comfortable for kids.

PIKA creates ultra-soft, sensory-friendly clothing for babies and kids, combining comfort, function, and modern design. Founded by three moms, our brand was inspired by the need for kids’ clothes that children love to wear and parents find practical.

What makes PIKA unique:

We use eco-friendly bamboo fabric, known for its softness, breathability, and gentle feel—perfect for sensitive skin and sensory needs. Our designs prioritize comfort with no itchy tags, flat seams, stretchy necklines and waistbands, and easy silhouettes that allow free movement.

Our process & values:

Sustainability drives us: bamboo requires less water and chemicals than cotton. We partner with ethical, small-scale manufacturers who share our commitment to quality. Every piece is tested by our own kids before production to ensure they truly work.

Our mission is simple: help kids feel great in their clothes and parents feel confident in their choices.
