Sleeping Giant Brewing Company
Sleeping Giant Brewing Company is a popular local Thunder Bay shop and Canadian beer brand. Along with a collection of craft beers they also make ginger ale, craft sodas, and hard seltzers.
I highly recommend visiting their taproom and brewery in person. It’s a really unique space with an entire shop to grab some Sleeping Giant Brewing Company merch, beers and other Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario souvenirs. You’ll see in the picture above a sign that says “Taproom” which is where you enter the brewery part of their building.
You can even stay and order a beer and some food to enjoy right in their brewery. It’s a pretty cool space for you to hang out with family/friends and it is kid friendly. You can order anything from nachos to sliders and pizza. We always enjoy ourselves when we go and the staff is super chill and welcoming. We’ve always sat on the main floor but there is a second level loft to sit in.
As you can see in the picture above, they have large garage doors that they open when it’s nice out. The space gives you everything you want when it comes to breweries – chill vibe, good food & cold beer.
