CANADIAN MADE SOCKS
There are some really great Canadian made sock brands to choose from. This shopping guide includes socks that I have purchased and wear myself, along with brands that have been recommended by our community of local shoppers on Threads.
J.B. Fields
J.B. Fields is a really neat Canadian made sock brand with an impressive history dating back to 1877. What started as a company making socks for the logging industry has bloomed into an incredible Canadian sock business that continues to make their socks in Canada, specifically in Toronto, ON. Their collection of socks include cotton work socks, merino wool thermal socks, low cut ankle socks, summer hiking socks, and more.
These are the socks we purchased from J.B. Fields and are loving. Shipping was super fast and we love knowing these socks were made in Canada. These are cotton socks perfect for everyday but we have our eye on some of their merino wool socks for winter and their colourful low cut ankle socks for summer hikes.
Vagden
If you’re looking for quality dress socks that are Canadian-made, look no further than these Vagden merino wool dress socks. They’re thin enough to fit in your work shoes, stay put and made with high quality merino wool. Merino wool is itch-free and very breathable.
Kootenay Sock Co.
Kootenay Sock Co. is a sock brand and local British Columbia shop based in Castlegar. They make socks perfect for outdoor adventures including mid-weight merino wool socks that come in full length or ankle and a heavy-weight merino wool boot sock.

The Province Of Canada socks are all Made In Canada and perfect for everyday wear. They come in a bunch of different colours but the thing that sets them apart is their give back program.
