What inspired you to start your business?

I’ve always been a creative person, and when I retired I wanted something meaningful to do. My passion for making and creating, along with my love for unique and unusual jewelry inspired me to start my business.

How do you describe your business?

I work with copper, gemstones and repurposed vintage silverware often incorporating gemstones. Incorporating natural elements is a must for me. I use traditional jewelry-making techniques such as cutting, shaping, hammering to create an organic, one-of-a-kind feel. I also like to use authentic African beads in many of my creations where possible. My training is entirely self-taught, developed through the years of experimenting.

What’s your bestselling product?

My best selling product are my stacked sets.

Why do you think they’re so popular?

I often design coordinated sets, incorporating a variety of my pieces that are put together rather then my customers trying to do it themselves. I often hear ” I wouldn’t have thought to put that together”. I also like to offer bundle pricing, giving customers a discount when they purchase as a set.

What’s your personal favourite product from your shop right now?

My personal favourites are my vintage silverware rings and bracelets. When I was a teenager, I bought my first silverware ring. I was so drawn to the concept of repurposing vintage pieces and giving them a new life. To this day, I still wear that ring!
