What inspired you to start your business?
My daughter developed hormonal issues at the age of 3 (1988), which was rare at the time. This inspired me on my journey of studying natural skincare formulation and developing pure products for me and my family in 2013. I am very grateful that Pure Heart Essentials has grown to help others with their skincare needs.
How would you describe your business?
Pure Heart Essentials is women-owned business providing CertClean and Cruelty Free products to nourish and protect your skin. Every ingredient is validated for it’s purity prior to formulation and carefully selected for function to ensure effective products you can trust for yourself and your family. Debbie holds multiple diplomas in skincare, haircare and pet care formulation, ensuring result driven products. Pure Heart Essentials is proud to have received six awards from the Clean Beauty Awards and Eco-Excellence Awards.

Scalp Oil.
Why do you think it’s so popular?
Our Scalp Oil features key Ayurvedic ingredients, including batana oil, castor oil, and rosemary essential oil to promote scalp health and stimulate hair growth. It deeply nourishes your hair with alma oil, babchi oil, and bhringraj oil. Use it as a scalp treatment or as a deep conditioning oil to help regenerate, strengthen, and revitalize your hair.
What’s your personal favourite product from your shop?
Rescue Balm started as a small-batch formula to help my sister when nothing else eased her Rosacea and dry skin. It was made with care and intention, and the spirit hasn’t changed. What began as a personal solution quickly became a skin-care staple for our community. From first aid kits to beside tables, this balm travels well, works hard, and brings comfort to you skin wherever it’s needed. It has helped so many people with dry skin, redness, tattoo, nails scalp flaking to name a few. It contains functional ingredients of avocado, olive, vitamin e and hemp seed oils to help with redness while calming the skin with calendula, lavender and evening primrose oils.
