I’ve always struggled with my skin. From high school through college, I kept thinking that once I reached adulthood, it would finally clear up… but it never did. I tried everything. Professional advice, countless products, and spending more crazy amounts of money at places like Sephora, all out of desperation for something that would actually work.
Then everything changed when I became pregnant and decided to transition to a more non-toxic lifestyle. That’s when I discovered tallow! It was the only thing that truly helped my skin. Even more meaningful, it was something I felt completely safe using on my babies, too. I was shocked how well it cleared my skin and my babies NEVER got a diaper rash.
I began making tallow for myself and my children, then gifting it to family and friends. Haha, I couldn’t stop and kept continuing to make more tallow things. What started as a personal solution quickly grew into something more and that’s where my journey with this little business began.
Wild Crafted Tallow is a small-batch, one mama-run natural skincare business rooted in simplicity and faith. We are committed to creating non-toxic, tallow-based skincare using whole-food, recognizable ingredients inspired by ancestral practices. Every product is handcrafted with care, designed to nourish and support families and sensitive skin, offering safe, effective, and intentional self-care.
Our grass-fed tallow is sourced from ethical, regeneratively minded local Canadian farms that prioritize animal welfare, soil health, and sustainable land stewardship. Tallow is the foundation of our formulations because its fatty acid profile closely mirrors that of human skin, making it deeply moisturizing, gentle, and well suited for sensitive skin. We thoughtfully blend our tallow with complementary ingredients such as extra virgin olive oil, locally sourced beeswax, shea butter and carefully prepared herbal infusions, always prioritizing purity, function, and ingredient integrity.
All products are made in small batches through an intentionally slow, hands-on process. We maintain full control over sourcing, rendering, formulation, and packaging to ensure quality and freshness. Our skincare is free from essential oils, fragrances, preservatives, artificial ingredients, and unnecessary additives, allowing the skin to receive simple, supportive care without overstimulation.
With no formal cosmetic training, this journey has been guided by extensive self-education, ancestral skincare research, hands-on formulation, continual refinement, and listening closely to customer feedback.

Each batch is lovingly handcrafted in small batches using grass-fed tallow, shea butter, and calendula-infused extra virgin olive oil. Tallow’s fatty acid profile closely mirrors the skin’s own natural oils, helping it absorb deeply and support the skin’s natural barrier. Shea butter adds rich softness and moisture, while calendula-infused olive oil gently soothes and calms sensitive or irritated skin.
We take the time to slowly melt and whip the ingredients to create a light, non-greasy texture that works beautifully on the face, body, hands, and dry patches. We intentionally avoid essential oils, fragrances, preservatives, and synthetic additives, so it’s safe and nurturing for the whole family.
