My husband and I purchased this business from the original owners three years ago. I have always loved flowers and I have an environmental education background so this business was a great fit for my interests! I grew up gardening and had my own flower farm for awhile. I was looking for something different and this business was the perfect mix of creativity, gardening, and sharing love with people. Sending a card may seem old fashioned, but it is very meaningful to send and receive a card that was written with intention!
Our business is very wholesome and inspired by nature. We choose to use a lot of puns on our greeting cards because it makes people smile. We hand draw every design, typically starting out on paper and then drawing it digitally. Every paper product is printed, cut, folded, and packaged by us! We print everything to order so we can avoid wasting products and making sure our seed paper is as fresh as possible.
Just Bee-cause Plantable Greeting Card
It is a card that can be used for any occasion and people are really drawn to the illustration on the card! People love bees and wildflowers and the fact that the recipient can plant the card after is even better!
My favourite product right now are the “I’m grateful from my head to-ma-toes” tomato themed greeting card because it reminds me of summer gardening and I believe that being grateful is one of the most meaningful things we can be.
Too many to choose from! But Prairie Soap Shack products are keeping my skin very moisturized this winter!
