I have a background in Aromatherapy, Holistic Nutrition and Health Coaching. I formulated Dimpleskins Naturals balms and salves with clean, cruelty-free, non-toxic ingredients and herbs that are effective without all the “junk”. My balms are still handmade using their original, tried and trusted formulas in BC. We package our balms in food-grade stainless steel tins that are recyclable.
The birth of my first baby sparked my interest in reading product labels. When I discovered that baby products were laden with chemicals, I set out to find an alternative. There were not many natural options on the market at the time, so I created my own products for our use at home. As the years went by, my line turned into a business that still stands to this day, over 2 decades later.
Bum Bum Balm Diapering Salve has been featured in magazines across North America, including People Magazine. It also won the PTPA Award (Parent Tested Parent Approved). Bum Bum Balm was formulated without zinc oxide, making it a safe choice with cloth diapers. It is infused with anti-inflammatory calendula oil, which instantly soothes diaper rash.
I love the Basically Bare Everywhere Balm. It is free from essential oils, making it completely fragrance-free and gentle. If a family wanted just one of our balms to use everywhere (breastfeeding, pregnant bellies, sister’s chapped lips, dad’s shaving nicks, toddler’s dry cheeks, or baby’s drool rash), the Basically Bare Everywhere Balm would be it.
