What inspired you to start your business?
I was inspired by the incredible local small businesses creating high-quality, thoughtful products. I wanted to find a meaningful way to share those products with others, and gift baskets and gift boxes felt like the perfect way to do that. It allows me to be creative while putting together something special for someone else. Through my sales, I’m not only growing my own business but also supporting other small businesses and helping to strengthen our communities.

Fraser Valley Basket Co. is a women-owned business specializing in thoughtfully curated gift baskets and boxes filled with high-quality products from Canadian, primarily British Columbia, artisans and small businesses. Each gift is designed to feel personal and meaningful, whether it’s for a client thank-you, employee appreciation, milestone, or special celebration.
I source the majority of my products from within British Columbia, supporting incredible makers like ChocolaTas, Fraser Candle Co., Kitchening & Co., Natural Concepts, Squeeze, and many others. Each product is chosen for its quality, uniqueness, and presentation, items I’d be proud to give or receive.
With a background in interior design, home staging, and real estate, I bring a trained eye for detail and presentation to every basket I create. It’s important to me that each gift looks beautiful and professional, while still feeling warm, personal, and full of heart.

The BC Snack Basket is our most popular curated option, it’s filled with an assortment of locally made treats and makes a great gift for any occasion. Our Create Your Own gift box is also a customer favourite, giving our customers the ability of pick the perfect items for the recipient.
Why do you think it’s so popular?
The BC Snack Basket is filled with delicious treats from local BC artisans like YVR Cookies and Whole Snacks nuts, making it a tasty and thoughtful gift. I believe it’s also popular because of its great price point, beautiful packaging, and versatility for all occasions.
The Create Your Own option is loved because it lets people handpick their favourite local products, making the gift more personal.
What’s your personal favourite product?
Wow, that’s a tough one! I think my favourite right now is the Cozy Moments Gift Box. It’s beautifully put together—I love all the pink packaging and the cute box! The mix of scented products, like the candle and hanging air freshener, paired with delicious treats, makes it feel extra special. And really, who wouldn’t love a London Fog white chocolate bar?
What’s your favourite local British Columbia shop?
One of my favourites is Hugs in a Mug Coffee Bistro. I run the Abbotsford chapter of Gals That Brunch, and it’s become one of our go-to spots—great coffee, friendly service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
