What inspired you to start your business?

I love making my own candle and skincare products for myself and family. I also love going for hikes and smelling the earthy groundness of the forest. I figured why not combined both passion.

How would you describe your business?

It’s a moment to reconnect back to nature. I use only essential oils for scent because I like the benefits of the aromatherapy it gives you. I create my own blends, both for fragrance and both for the base of the product.

What are your bestselling products?

Currently my best seller is Forest Rain Ritual Soap

Why do you think it’s so popular?

I think it popular due to the scent. It has that smell of the forest after a rainstorm… it’s earthy, with a hint of fir and citrus to pick you up. I was inspired by this after being caught in a fully drenched kind of rain on hikes and camping trip. And once that sun came out it just absolutely breathtaking at least to me. Inside this soap the base is an organic melt and pour which I have enriched with coconut milk, aloe vera, and some french green clay. So it very moisturizing with some good stuff for your skin.

What’s your personal favourite product?

Golden Dawn Ritual Soap. I use it everyday. I work two jobs which deals with a lot of customer service, so I need something to not only calm me down but also something that regrounds me and pick me up for my job. It’s a summer seasonal scent it was inspired by waking up to sun horizon and the smell of everything coming alive in summer.

What’s your favourite local Ontario business?

Funny enough, it not related to anything I do. It a local pizza store called Yeti’s. The people are so down to earth and their pizza is just perfection. My favourite is pepperoni and bacon.
