Zero Waste MVMT came to fruition shortly after a trip abroad a couple of years back. Our entire perspective on waste management and pollution changed after experiencing the detrimental effects on the environment first-hand. Polluted beaches, plastic in the oceans, garbage being burned on the street-side and much more. It was a real eye-opener for what actually happens to the things we purchase, consume, throw out and seemingly “forget” about. Everything is going somewhere and it’s up to us to make sure the things we buy have a proper end-of-life and don’t end up in landfills or our waterways.
From that moment on, they made it their mission to help eliminate single-use plastic and drastically reduce the amount of waste that we produce as a society.
To do this we wanted to create the most practical, budget friendly alternatives to eliminate disposable and single-use plastics.

Awesome sustainable Canadian company!
I purchased the beeswax food wrap, reusable silicone bags, Swedish dishcloth and bamboo pot brush. All products are fantastic, arrived quickly and came sustainably packaged. I really love the pot brush as it is gentle on all pots and tough enough to remove any stubborn food. This is an excellent local, family run company that with a great mission. I highly recommend their products and supporting Zero Waste MVMT!
It’s TIME
My daughter introduced me to zero waste products. I was immediately interested in having my own supply and have purchased starter kits as Xmas gifts. It takes a while to adjust to not simply using liquid soap products but well worth the effort.
