How would you describe your business?
Little Rose Cookie Co. is a business specializing in making beautiful sugar cookies and other delicious cookies and baked goods! Our cookies are handmade from scratch, and decorated with love and care. With years of making custom cookies under our belt, the team and I personalize each order, using a variety of old and new techniques to make each cookie set unique and perfectly suited to each unique client! Personally, I’m a self-taught baker, but am always researching and learning, making myself privy to new trends and techniques to keep our cookies trendy and special. We’ve even been featured on television and have won cookie decorating competitions!
What inspired you to open your shop?
The inspiration behind starting Little Rose Cookie Co. came from my passion for baking, art and creativity, as well as my love for family and serving others. I’ve always loved serving and bringing joy to others, and making delicious and beautiful cookies became a way for me to express that. Baking reminds me of home and the warmth of family and the thought of being a part of family celebrations, milestones, and everyday special moments through my cookies motivated me to turn my passion into a business.

What’s your best selling product and why do you think it’s so popular?
Our custom sugar cookies!
Over the years, we’ve perfected our sugar cookie recipe and have learned a vast amount of decorating techniques that make our sugar cookies very special in that they’re both truly delicious and very beautiful. Our classic vanilla sugar cookie recipe is a full-flavoured, soft and not-too-sweet sugar cookie, which balances nicely with our soft-bite royal icing recipe. Our customers often tell us that they mostly purchase the cookies because they are beautiful, but are often surprised by the delicious taste and soft bite!
What’s your favourite ‘can’t live without’ product from your shop?
That’s such a tough one but I would have to say I LOVE our double chocolate sugar cookie that we seasonally carry in our counter! The dark cocoa we use almost gives it a brownie-like taste and consistency and it’s a customer favourite, too!
