I am currently the General Manager for our family run company which is owned 100% by my mother, Angela Costanzo. We have always been in the coffee business, first as distributors and now as coffee roasters. To say coffee is a passion of ours, is to say the least. We are continuing to pursue our passion in the ever changing coffee industry however remaining true to our roots and traditions.
As mentioned above, we are woman owned and family run and more than half of our employees are woman including our master roaster. Patera Group was founded in 2000 after having been in the coffee industry more than 20 years prior. We roast, blend and package reliably sourced beans and follow a strict handcrafted method, staying true to the quality of the coffee bean and producing an excellent blend of traditional coffee.
Our roastery is Fairtrade Organic and Canada Organic certified and we adhere to strict protocols when roasting coffee beans. We not only have a coffee roasting division, but we have a service and technical division as well.
We are a full stop coffee company providing not only excellent blends and allied products, but we have a team dedicated to ensuring that the coffee equipment is functioning properly, that quality control visits are done regularly and they work hard to always be available to our customers for troubleshooting, training or final commissioning.

Our Medi and Sera blends are our best selling coffee beans, while our single origin Fair Trade Organic Paradiso roast is gaining popularity.
Our Medi blend is year round signature blend. It is made up of Arabica and Robusta beans – from Brazil, Ethiopia, Honduras, India and Peru. The beans are medium roasted for tasting notes of dark chocolate and toasted almond for a bold, smooth coffee with lasting body. Our Sera blend is also a year round signature blend made up of Arabica and Robusta beans – from Brazil, Honduras, India and Peru, darkly roasted with tasting notes of dark chocolate, orange zest and roasted hazelnuts.
My personal favourite is the Paradiso FTO blend. This roast is Fairtrade Organic and Canada Organic certified and with this blend we work collectively to help build sustainable local economies and support for coffee producers.
