What inspired you to open your shop?
I launched Twisted Goat Coffee from a sheer passion for outstanding coffee. My vision was clear: to be Canada’s leading online coffee roaster while ensuring everyone can start their day with a high-quality, yet affordable brew. Our belief is making sure you kick off your day right, fueling your daily goals and drive. Because every morning should feel like a new adventure, and with the right brew, anything is possible.
How would you describe your business?
Twisted Goat Coffee is all about delivering the ultimate coffee experience. Originating from a cafe in a ski village in BC, our journey into specialty coffee took flight. We spent a year roasting exclusively for our cafe, fine-tuning our blends based on feedback from customers across Canada, Europe, Australia, and the USA. This hands-on approach enabled us to craft some truly exceptional roast profiles that launched our business.
We’re committed to ethically sourcing our beans, ensuring both quality and sustainability. Over-roasting our beans isn’t our style; we strive to produce a distinctive cup that highlights the best tasting notes of each bean. If you’re seeking a dark, oily coffee, then we might not be your best fit.
Our subscription service offers both variety and value, delivering fresh roasts directly to doorsteps. With our seasonal roasts, there’s always something new, and our VIP subscribers enjoy exclusive promos, gifts, and free coffee to enhance their subscriptions. Moreover, subscribers can easily swap out roasts, upgrade/downgrade, pause, or cancel at any time.

What’s your best selling product and why is it so popular?
Sugarloaf Espresso Beans.
Our Sugarloaf espresso is great because it has a taste profile everyone loves. It’s a blend of Guatemala and Brazil beans, offering notes of chocolate, vanilla, and walnut. This roast is full-bodied and has a richness with a mild acidity, making it great for your lattes and also produces an amazing americano. Because we don’t roast this bean too dark, this coffee, like all our coffees, is safe for home super-automatic espresso machines. We also offer this roast in bulk in 2 or 5 lbs bags.
What’s your favourite product from your own shop?
Right now, my personal favorite from our shop has to be our Coffee Cards. In a world where many of us feel overwhelmed with possessions, gifting consumables like coffee is both thoughtful and practical. These Coffee Cards bring an added layer of personalization, making each brew a memorable moment. For me, it’s a wonderful way to celebrate the joys of gifting without adding to the clutter, making each sip meaningful and special.
