How would you describe your business?
We are a mother-daughter, women-owned, small business. Our passion for nature, animals and natural bath and wellness care is run on hard work and pride. We hand create each and every product in small batches with love from our home. Offering natural products with simple ingredients that are effective and of high quality.
What inspired you to start your business?
Our business was inspired by our small town, rural roots, while embracing the power of nature and the benefits it has to offer us. Like many of us who have sensitive skin, some products on the market do not suit all of our needs. This is how Tub Loves was born. My nephew suffered from eczema as wee babe, and with little ones you always want to ensure you are using a gentle product for their delicate skin. With that in mind, this encouraged the development and use of natural ingredients, specifically my goats’ milk as it naturally packed with high amounts of vitamins and minerals. In fact, our OH Baby bar has the initials of both my nephew’s names (Owen and Hudson).
What’s your bestselling product right now & why do you think it’s so popular?
My beloved goats help create our Triple Butter Goats Milk Soap Bar, which is our bestselling product.
Goats milk is naturally packed with high amounts of vitamins and minerals. Combined with three natural exotic butters – Cocoa, Mango and nourishing Shea Butter. The creamy smooth texture soothes and nourishes the skin. We hand create these bars in small batches in a number of different scents to choose from. Each bar is wrapped in a biodegradable film to not only protect the product itself but our planet as well by reducing our carbon footprint.
What’s your favourite product from your own shop?
My favourite season is Fall. So, my personal favourite product in our shop right now is the White Pumpkin line. It is the essence of pure autumn bliss in a bottle or bar.

How did your business come together?
Our passion for creativity, nature, animals and soap, led us to turn our work into a labour of love. Knowing that something is ‘from the Earth’ gives you that good-for-you, peace of mind, feels just right, feeling. Which is why we wanted to create a bath and wellness care line using only nature’s gifts. Our business is run with hard work and pride, hand creating each product in small batches with love from our home. We use only natural, simple ingredients that are locally sourced in Canada.
Why did you decide to work together?
We decided to work together as it allows for another outlet for us to collaborate and express our creative sides.
What’s one thing that contributes to your success as a Mother-Daughter duo?
We encourage and support one another every step of the way, while innovating new ideas to enhance our vision for Tub Loves.
What’s your favourite moment working together so far?
Our 1st Birthday milestone! How time flies when you are having fun. It warms our hearts to have such a great support system. We are just so grateful!
What advice do you have for other Mother-Daughter business partners? Is this something you would recommend?
Always keep an open heart and an open mind. Good ideas turn into great ideas when you respect one another. Being a team means that there should always be give and take from one another.
