Juniper Designz is a Canadian clothing brand creating a variety of made in Canada dresses, tops and skirts. All of their clothing is cut and sewn in South Surrey, BC using sustainable fabrics like bamboo.
What inspired you to start your business?
It has always been a dream of mine to have my own business. So when I retired that’s when I started it.
How do you describe your business?
It is a ladies ready to wear line, focusing on knits from bamboo/spandex and viscose/ elastane. My studio is situated in South Surrey where I design, cut, and sew all my products.
What’s your bestselling product & why do you think it’s so popular?

The Michelle dress is a loose cut that would appeal to most figure types.It has an empire waist with gathers and bell sleeves.The fabric is viscose/elastane, made from a wood source pulp, which makes it breathable and comfortable to wear.The fabric is OEKO Tex certified, which means during the manufacturing process, they do not use harmful chemicals.
What’s your personal favourite product?
I love the Bobbi Dress. It has a simple, effortless style.The dress is sleeveless with side slits, cut looser in the waist. If you want a tighter fit, you just go down one size.The dress is comfortable to wear, and to me that is very important. The fabric is bamboo/spandex Ribknit and OEKO Tex certified.
