What inspired you to open your business?
French-Quebecer, I am from Reunion Island, a small French tropical island lost in the Indian Ocean. I grew up to the rhythm of the sea (beach bum forever) and I learned very young to admire and protect the nature that surrounds us.
The conservation of fauna and flora has always been an important issue in my life. A great lover of candles since always, I found myself faced with a recurring problem: the accumulation of empty jars at the end of the life of the candles.
Unfortunately, a very large portion of these pots end up in landfills very quickly and are almost never recycled. This sad reality is what prompted me to create a pot that would be refillable.
I also wanted to associate myself with an organization that works in the planting of corals across the oceans. A percentage of our profits is donated to Coral Gardeners I wanted to make Coton Corail a brand with a soul and a heart.
