Keady Market
The Keady Market is a seasonal outdoor market in Keady, Ontario that takes place every Tuesday from May/June through to Sept/Oct, if the weather allows.

Keady Market has an incredible variety of vendors including people selling handmade crafts and home decor, and vintage items. Some vendors even sell toys or bedsheets.
They also have a wide variety of food vendors selling fruits & veggies, olive oil, baked goods, candy, meat, cheeses, and salsa. You can also usually get freshly squeezed lemonade and I highly recommend the kettle corn. It’s really neat to watch the kettle corn being made.

It really is a unique experience because on Tuesday mornings this tiny little rural community becomes a hub for shoppers. People travel far and wide to not only be vendors at this market but also to shop. It’s definitely a well-known market among locals and visitors.
I’ve been visiting this market since I was a kid and it’s still one of my favourite markets to go to during the summer. It’s best to visit in July and August because that’s when there are the most vendors. If it’s a sunny day, prepare for crowds.

There is free parking at the market and along the side of the roads in town. It can be busy but you’ll eventually find a spot!
They also have a cattle and livestock market inside the building that start at 9am.
If you’re interested in being a vendor at the Keady Market, you simply arrive at the market to set up and get a lot between 5am and 6:30am the day of the market. You can pay your vendor fee (which is $35 for a no-hydro lot) when you arrive at the market and don’t need to book ahead of time. They operate the vendor spaces on a first come, first served basis.
