Mysa Candles
Mysa Candles is a Canadian candle company and local Winnipeg shop. Their candles are made using soy wax and wooden wicks.
You can choose between a number of different scents like ‘roasted pear’, ‘maple gingerbread’, ‘blueberry balsam’, ‘peppermint vanilla’, ‘coconut vanilla’ (my personal favourite) and lots more.
They offer their candles in glass containers, tin containers or my favourite – pottery containers and refillable candles.
They partner with local Winnipeg pottery studio, LOT Ceramics, to create their candle holders that are specifically designed for the refillable candles. Once you have the ceramic container, you only need to re-order the refillable candle.
Refillable candles are a great way to reduce waste and I was really impressed with how easy it was to use them. Simply cut the paper cup that they arrive in and place the candle in the container.
