How would you describe your brand?

Pure Wash is a Canadian-made skincare brand specializing in handcrafted soaps, lotions, and bath products made in small batches with clean, high-quality ingredients. Using traditional cold-process soap making and carefully formulated lotion recipes, we create simple, effective skincare free from sulfates, parabens, and harsh fillers. Every product is measured, poured, cured, and packaged by hand, ensuring consistent quality and a luxurious experience. With a focus on transparency, craftsmanship, and skin-nourishing ingredients, Pure Wash offers natural, modern, and dependable body care people feel good using every day.

What inspired you to start your business?

My son did, after getting laid off from a 20 plus year job.

Our handmade soap bars and our Charcoal Facial Oil.

Why do you think it’s so popular?

Both products stand out because they combine clean, high-quality ingredients with visible skin benefits and a handcrafted process that customers trust.

Our soap bars are made using the traditional cold-process method, which preserves the integrity of plant-based oils and butters. This technique creates a rich, creamy lather and a long-lasting bar that’s gentle on the skin. Each bar is formulated with skin-nourishing ingredients like coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, and high-quality fragrance or essential oils. They’re cured for several weeks to harden naturally, making them milder, more hydrating, and more luxurious than mass-produced soap. Customers love that they’re clean, simple, effective, and beautifully crafted.

Our Charcoal Facial Oil is popular because it delivers results that customers can feel quickly. It’s made with lightweight, non-comedogenic oils that hydrate without clogging pores, combined with activated charcoal to help draw out impurities and balance oily or acne-prone skin. The formula absorbs quickly, leaving the skin soft, smooth, and nourished without a greasy finish. People appreciate that it’s gentle, plant-based, and designed to improve overall skin clarity.

What’s your favourite product from your shop right now?

My personal favorite right now is our Oatmeal Milk & Honey Soap. It’s incredibly soothing and gentle, made with finely ground oatmeal, creamy milk, and a touch of honey for added hydration. The bar creates a soft, comforting lather that leaves my skin calm, smooth, and moisturized. I love it because it feels warm, nourishing, and simple—an everyday soap that’s both gentle and luxurious.
