When I think back on what sparked the birth of my business, it begins in early childhood—strolling through the forest, feeling the earth’s pulse beneath my feet, the moonlight weaving through leaves overhead. I discovered my first witchcraft book in my father’s collection when I was thirteen, and a quiet flame of fascination ignited within me.
Over the years, as I delved into herbalism, crystals, Reiki, tarot, astrology, and traditional witchcraft, I noticed a pattern: I was always collecting little tools and materials to deepen my practice. Eventually, I realized—I could craft these tools myself. That realization sparked something more than creativity; it awakened purpose and growth.
Spiral Rain was born in 2018 (officially online by January 2019), rooted in my desire to make magick accessible, ethical, and meaningful. It wasn’t just about selling candles or oils—it was about weaving intention and healing into every product and sharing them as gentle guides to others walking their own spiritual paths.
My approach has always been holistic. Combining my training as a certified crystal healer and Reiki master with an eclectic witchcraft practice, I created offerings that honor both the ancient and the modern. Handcrafted with love, made from natural materials, packaged in recyclable components—each item is meant to support inner balance, personal empowerment, and spiritual growth.
Most importantly, Spiral Rain continues as a family-centered endeavour: my husband, children, parents, and I all share in the creation, intention, and daily care of this little sanctuary. We infuse every handmade item and subscription box with intention, gratitude, and a deep sense of nurturing spirit. Because magick without compassion, without community, doesn’t feel whole to us, we honour every step of this journey together—rooted in love, mindful of impact, and committed to holding space for others on their own path.
Today, Spiral Rain has grown beyond my wildest dreams. Our boxes now travel to homes all over the world, and over the years, our offerings have evolved into something much deeper: education. What began as simple handcrafted tools has become a way to guide others through learning and transformation. Our monthly magazine feels like a course, diving into each theme with depth and care, while the Mystic Spiral Academy opens the door to structured teachings, classes, and personal growth.
Our holistic services have also expanded. Where once we focused on Witchcraft, Transpersonal Crystal Healing, and Reiki, we now embrace light and sound healing—creating a more complete and soulful experience for those seeking harmony of body, mind, and spirit. These modalities allow us to weave energy, vibration, and intention together, offering transformative sessions that help others reconnect with their inner light and find balance in their everyday lives.
Ultimately, Spiral Rain sprang from curiosity, a deep love for the earth, and a longing to offer tools and teachings that are both magical and grounded. Spiral Rain is a Canadian, woman-owned, and family-run metaphysical atelier based in Trois Rivières, Quebec. Here, ancient wisdom hums in harmony with modern intention and every offering becomes a living vessel of care and conscience. Founded by me, Rani Guillemette, with the help of my husband, children, and parents, our atelier is rooted in traditional witchcraft, crystal healing, Reiki, herbalism, and the apothecary arts.

Each piece is handcrafted in small batches, brewed, mixed, poured, or blended with ritual mindfulness by our family team. My background as a seasoned witch, Transpersonal Crystal Practitioner, Reiki Master, and Spiritual Life Coach, grounded in Old World Witchcraft and multiple energy healing traditions, shapes the holistic services I offer, including tarot and oracle readings, altar spellwork, and energy healing sessions. These services are designed to restore harmony, working with root causes of imbalance rather than focusing on surface level fixes.
