What inspired you to start your business?

i started my art business because creating art is how i make sense of the world and i wanted to share that spark so others feel seen, bold and unapologetically themselves.

How do you describe your business?

my business is a supercute character driven art brand where i create an emotionally charged world through spray paint, acrylic, ink, stickers, fabric and digital layers. the catchooniverse blends softpunk cuteness with gritty rebels to create bold, high contrast pieces that feel nostalgic, a little defiant yet deeply human. mostly self taught with lived experience and an obsession with turning big feelings into visual stories people can own.

What’s your bestselling product?

superstickers are my bestselling products they’re small supersticky and people love collecting and sharing them!

Why do you think it’s so popular?

it’s popular because it feels personal and collectible at the same time. each sticker can be worn like a personal emotional badge that is made from a supersticky vinyl adhesive strong enough to ride on cars, skateboards, laptops and water bottles. they appeal to all ages and genders and they’re an affordable entry point into the collectible catchoo art world.

they’re made in limited runs and there’s always a new sticker popping up!

What’s your personal favourite product from your shop right now?

besides each of the art prints available, it’s got to be the “i tried” pin because it’s my mantra! i try my best at everything i do and sometimes it doesn’t always turn out great or i don’t win but i don’t get negative and reward myself with positive thoughts of the contributing effort and that the outcome is perfectly imperfect.

What’s your favourite local Toronto shop?

these days it would have to be dineen a local coffee shop, great coffee and sometimes i grab a treat, it’s a great way to start the day!
