Improve the success of your sale and increase exposure for your business by adding it to our sale directory. This section of the website makes it really easy for people to find sales that are happening across Canada. It’s not a surprise that the sale directory gets so much traffic because everyone loves scoring a good deal! 

Please find written and video instructions below on how to add your sales to the website. 

  1. Log into your account on the shoplocalcanada.ca website
  2. Hover over your username and scroll down to ‘Add Listing’
  3. Click on ‘Get Started’ under the ‘Your Packages’ section.
    1. IMPORTANT:
      1. If you click on ‘Get Started’ anywhere else, you will be asked to pay again so make sure you click under the ‘Your Packages’ section
  4. Fill in the form with your sale information
    1. IMPORTANT:
      1. Include what the sale is in the tagline (ex: 50% off!)
      2. Include start and end date
      3. Add a minimum of 2 pictures (no more than 4)
      4. Include description and what the coupon code is, if applicable
      5. Only include website, not Instagram link
  5. Once form is filled out with your sale information, click on preview.
  6. Review your listing and click ‘submit listing
  7. If you need to edit your listing, click ‘edit listing’
  8. We will approve your listing and it will be live on the website with 48 hours (M-F)
