There are some really great local Port Elgin shops that we wanted to share with you. Port Elgin is a small Ontario town we highly recommend adding to your next trip list. It’s such a gorgeous town and has a beautiful waterfront so after some shopping, you can head to the beach.

PORT ELGIN STORES
Rabbit Dash Coffee House
Our first stop in Port Elgin was obviously to grab a coffee from Rabbit Dash Coffee. They offer great coffee and speciality drinks like lavender lattes (it was delicious!) or s’mores mocha lattes. Along with coffee, they have tea, pastries, sandwiches and bagels (& a few more treats). If you decide to stay in to enjoy your coffee, they serve it in an actual mug and have lots of seating inside as well as a few tables outside. It’s the perfect spot to meet a friend, do a little work or bring a book to enjoy some time to yourself.

Towards the back of the coffee shop, they have an entire section devoted to records. You can look for your favourites or grab a new one to enjoy. We loved the exposed brick walls, hanging lights and bicycle decor.
Sweet Whispers Studio
Sweet Whispers Studio is an awesome Ontario greeting card company based in Port Elgin, ON. Most of their cards are sarcastic and funny, which we love. They have cards for everyone on your list, including co-workers. One of our favourites is the card shown below.

Shopping their fashionable kids clothing and cute accessories is only made better because of the exposed brick walls, beautiful ceiling and trendy light fixtures.
