What inspired you to start your business?
It began as a form of creative therapy, as I was filled with anxiety, panic and grief from losing a close family member to suicide, layered with the pandemic and also losing my grandmother. Keeping my creativity flowing through these tough times helped to give me a positive distraction.
How do you describe your business?
I create products to delicately and beautifully scent your home. Always thinking about the environmental impact, health and sustainability of the planet when sourcing and making my products. I use 100% natural and biodegradable coconut + soy waxes, free from dyes, stabilizers, paraffin, additives and inhibitors. My essential oils and fragrances are always free from phthalates + parabens. I also offer a “bring it back” recycling program to encourage returning empties for a discount on your next purchase. Mental health is also a pillar of my business, and I dedicate 3% of every sale to be donated to local mental health organizations. I have donated almost $40,000 in under 5 years!
What’s your bestselling product?
Candles! The best seller varies by season but these are the top 3: 1) “morning sunrise “ tropical fruit smoothie”, 2) “gather” apple cider + vanilla, 3) “fresh start” eucalyptus + lemongrass
Why do you think it’s so popular?
I think incorporating positive names to all of my candles (keeping the “good” vibe throughout my brand), using high quality essential oils and fine fragrances, creating delicate scents for sensitive noses and offering a soothing crackling wick is all a recipe for success!
What’s your personal favourite product from your shop right now?
I love the “good vibes” x-wick collection! The scents I blend are a bit more whimsical, curious and unique! And the names are empowering!
