What inspired you to start your business?
My daughter born at 25 weeks we needed to have healthier options in our home due to heart and lung disease. I started to do research and started testing out soy candles. The first candle I made was blueberry muffins and I was hooked. I also suffer from migraines and making the switch to soy candles was the best thing I could do for myself as I no longer got a headache while burning a candle in my home when I burned my own creation. This is why, to this day, I focus on buying oils that are only phthalate free.
How do you describe your business?
Our process is rooted in quality over shortcuts. We use premium soy wax, carefully selected fragrance oils, and clean-burning materials to ensure a safe, long-lasting experience. Each scent is thoughtfully curated and tested—because not every wick performs the same with every oil. Every new batch goes through test burns to guarantee proper performance, scent throw, and consistency before it ever reaches your home.
Our techniques focus on small-batch production, allowing us to maintain control over every detail—from blending fragrances to achieving the perfect burn. This hands-on approach ensures each candle meets our standards for both performance and aesthetic.

What’s your personal favourite product from your shop right now?
That’s a hard one as I love everything but if I had to pick just one I love our Lavender Mint candle. I love mint and this blend with Lavender makes the perfect relaxing candle.
What’s your favourite local Ontario shop?
I have so many!!!! But I love OC Beauty the owner is hilarious, outgoing and makes great body products.
