After many years working as a jeweller and designer as employee, I wanted to fully launch my own business with my own vision and aesthetic.
I am a custom jewellery designer that holds three diplomas from the Gemological Institute of America – I am an Applied Jewelry Professional, a Diamonds Graduate (I am a certified diamond grader) and Coloured Stones Graduate. My unique edge is the consultation and design process. All of my consults are private and one on one instead of a retail showroom, and I start each project with a sketch with my client. My approach is always education first, I want my clients to feel educated and confident, and that the process feels like a collaboration, rather than just a sale. I love to make sure each and every client has an understanding of stone options, materials, and design decisions.
My bestselling products are engagement rings. Engagement rings are an important part of a couple’s story, and should feel deeply personal and special. West of Fourth works in gold and platinum, and we work with lab grown and natural diamonds, as well as many coloured gemstones and other unique stones.
Every project is custom made, so nothing is stocked. It is part of what makes us unique, each ring is personal. My favourites are always the more unique, unusual, and non-traditional pieces.
