We both come from Poland and moved to Canada 5 and 3 years ago. One of the first things we noticed was the lack of colour and truly high-quality products around us. Whenever we wore the pieces we had brought from Poland, people would stop us on the streets and ask where these beautiful, vibrant items came from—because they surely weren’t from Nova Scotia.
That sparked an idea: what if we could create a bridge between Poland and Canada? Share the best of what we know – Polish craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a love for colour – with our new home.
We decided to offer only products of the highest quality, pieces we personally test and use ourselves. If something doesn’t meet our expectations, it never makes it to our shop. Mewomee was born from a desire to bring more colour, authenticity, and thoughtfully made products into everyday life.
Mewomee is a small, family-driven brand built around the values of quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. We collaborate with carefully selected makers in Poland—experienced artisans and manufacturers who have been perfecting their skills for decades. Every piece we offer is created with attention to detail, respect for materials, and a genuine passion for making products that last.
Our collections are made from premium fabrics such as certified merino wool, high-quality softshell, and natural cotton blends. We focus on functional, comfortable designs suited to the Canadian climate—windproof, breathable, and durable – while bringing in the vibrant colours and unique aesthetics that reflect our Polish roots. Each product goes through a careful process of prototyping, testing, and real-life use before it reaches our customers.
What makes us unique is the bridge we create between two worlds: Polish craftsmanship and Canadian everyday life. We work directly with small workshops and family manufacturers who value ethical production, fair working conditions, and traditional techniques combined with modern technology. We personally test everything we sell – if a product doesn’t meet our expectations in quality, comfort, or durability, it never becomes part of our offer.

Softshell Jackets and Merino Wool Vests.
Our products are loved because they combine real functionality with comfort, quality, and unique design – something many customers struggle to find on the Canadian market.
Our softshell coats are waterproof, windproof, and breathable. The inner fabric is soft and gentle against the skin, giving a cozy, comfortable feel even on colder, windy days. They feature original, vibrant patterns that stand out from typical outdoor wear. Each coat is made in a small family factory in Poland, following slow fashion principles – focused on quality and craftsmanship rather than mass production. These are pieces designed to be used for years, not thrown away after one season.
The coats also include practical, thoughtful details: a two-way zipper for comfort while walking or sitting, two separate functional pockets, a deep protective hood, and an extended back for better coverage in rain and wind. Every element is designed with everyday life in mind.
Our merino vests are made from 100% premium merino wool—the highest-quality wool, very hard to find in Canada. This is pure merino, not a blend of synthetic fibers. Merino wool has exceptional natural properties: it is breathable, regulates body temperature, keeps you warm in cold weather and cool in mild weather, wicks moisture away from the skin, and is naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant. It is incredibly soft, non-itchy, and safe even for sensitive skin. Thanks to these qualities, merino garments can be worn year-round and require less frequent washing, making them both practical and sustainable.
What truly makes our products amazing is the combination of natural materials, European craftsmanship, and designs created for real life. Customers feel the difference the moment they touch and wear them.
There are two of us behind Mewomee, and each of us has a different favourite. We truly love all our products—that’s why we chose them—but we appreciate different features and qualities.
One of us is a big fan of the merino vests. She loves them for the exceptional quality, the purity of the 100% merino wool, and its natural properties – how soft it feels, how it regulates temperature, and how comfortable it is in everyday wear. It’s a piece that feels both practical and a little luxurious.
The other one leads a very active lifestyle and wears the softshell coats almost every day. She loves their functionality and versatility – the fact that they work in every season, protect from wind and rain, and still feel breathable and comfortable. The thoughtful details and vibrant designs make them perfect for real life, whether it’s a walk with the dog, school drop-offs, or a weekend trip.
Our favourites may be different, but they both reflect what Mewomee is about: comfort, quality, and products made to live in, not just look nice on a hanger.
