Rocket Bakery & Fresh Food

One of absolute favourite local St. John’s Newfoundland shops is Rocket Bakery. Their location on Water St. is a definite hit with locals and tourists alike. We felt at home in their cozy space with lots of places to sit. After we ordered our coffees and a cinnamon bun to share, we headed into the cafe sitting room to people watch, take in the space and enjoy our food and drink. What we didn’t expect was a group of locals to pull out a wide collection of different instruments and start playing. It seemed as though this is something that happens weekly, between a group of friends and their sips of coffee. We were thrilled to have been there at the right time and place. Not only does Rocket Bakery have a great collection of baking and lunch options, they also have lots of products to shop for gift ideas.
